$12.50 a bale, delivered and spread. Or $7.50 a bale delivered only. Your bed size and your town set your price, and you agree it before any work starts.
What dealing with Branden means for you
Four things you will notice.
- One person to talk to
- The number rings Branden, who prices the job, so when you ask about your price you are asking the man who set it.
- Priced by the bale
- You pay by the bale, and nothing is added for the spreading. The one thing that can go on top is the trip, and that depends on how far out you are.
- Weekdays, with notice
- Monday to Friday, no weekends. About 2 days' notice if you can.
- Spread means spread
- Have it spread and the bales you pay for go into your beds. Delivered only, the bales come off the truck and you spread them.
What is ruled out
Worth knowing before you call.
- No spreading fee added on. Spreading is in the price a bale. If you would rather spread it yourself, the delivered only price covers the straw and the drive.
- No order smaller than this. The smallest order is $150 of straw either way: 12 bales delivered and spread, or 20 bales delivered only. The trip is on top of that in the towns past the free drive.
- Nothing past about 85 minutes from Glennville. Brunswick, at about 80 minutes, is the furthest town on the list. Past about 85 minutes of driving the truck does not go.
Where the drive starts
The truck sets out from Glennville, Georgia, and how far out you are is counted in drive time, not in miles.
Inside a 30 minute drive of Glennville there is no charge for the trip. Past that it is a flat $150, paid once however many bales you order, whichever way you buy it. The list runs to 13 towns, out to Brunswick at about 80 minutes.
